Could Clogged Gutters be Flooding Your Basement?

Could Clogged Gutters be Flooding your Basement?

Whatever issues you see on your property regarding water, be it clogged gutters, downspouts, pooling or grading my answer is NO. They add to but are not the cause of. I've seen so many customers who have Spent, Spent, Spent $200.00 to clean gutters, $150.00 or so to extend the downspouts, $2,000.00 to regrade; I've had more than ten estimates on homes where they Spent SEVERAL thousand to have a five foot wide concrete sidewalk with a pitch all the way around their house. In the long run all that money just adds to the total cost of Interior or Exterior Basement Waterproofing. With a proper Pressure Relief System you could have all those things, glogged gutters, grade toward foundation, downspouts pouring straight down,,, and that basement will be dry as a Dinosour Bone. - Daniel J.
